R.I.P. (lived long, and prospered)... Leonard Nimoy 1931-2015

No model news in this post, just one of reflection...

It saddens me to hear the death of Leonard Nimoy, also known as Mr. Spock.  But at the same time, this talented man, lesser known for his other works, as what sometimes happens with a popular role, not unlike James Bond, or Luke Skywalker, has given the world so much, not only as an actor, but a role model, a community leader and an inspiration to millions.  Mr. Nimoy was an artist in the truest sense.  Some may know about his career as a director, but he always a photographer and a poet.  Some of his last words he tweeted were 'awesome' in the true meaning of that word.

As much as it sad to see a childhood hero pass away, we should rejoice in the work Mr. Nimoy shared with the world and be appreciative of how he made it a better place.  He was certainly an inspiration to me to get involved in a career in film.

"I can't help wondering about the friend I leave behind. 'There are always possibilities' Spock said. And if Genesis is indeed 'Life from death', I must return to this place again." - Admiral Kirk, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

"Remember..."
